Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 bell pepper (red, green, or yellow), sliced

1 small onion, sliced

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup salsa (store-bought or homemade)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken strips and toss to coat. Let it marinate for about 10-15 minutes to enhance the flavor.

Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken strips. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly browned.

Add Vegetables: Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp.

Assemble the Wraps: Warm the flour tortillas for about 20 seconds in the microwave or on a skillet. Lay a tortilla flat and layer with shredded lettuce, a generous portion of the chicken and vegetable mixture, diced tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream and salsa.

Wrap and Serve: Roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom up, folding in the sides as you go to encase the filling. Secure with a toothpick or wrap in foil if needed. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

Garnish and Enjoy: Serve the wraps garnished with fresh cilantro, if desired, and additional salsa on the side for dipping.
