Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until well combined.

Coat the Chicken Wings: Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the marinade. Use your hands or tongs to coat each wing evenly with the marinade. Allow the wings to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours for a deeper flavor.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Remove the wings from the marinade (allow excess marinade to drip off) and arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not overcrowded for even cooking.

Roast the Wings: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 30-35 minutes, turning the wings halfway through the cooking time until they are golden brown and crispy.

Optional Glaze: For extra glaze, brush the wings with additional maple-Dijon marinade during the last 5 minutes of cooking, ensuring it is cooked through to avoid any raw marinade.

Serve: Once done, remove the wings from the oven. Let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy them warm with your choice of dipping sauce like ranch or blue cheese dressing!
