Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/4 cup honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 green onions, sliced, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Marinade Preparation: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, grated ginger, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure all sides of the salmon are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare for Baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Halfway through, brush with some of the leftover marinade for extra flavor.

Serve: Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve with lemon wedges.

Enjoy: Pair this honey garlic salmon with a side of steamed vegetables, rice, or quinoa for a wholesome meal!
