Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup honey

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (for dusting)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Flaky sea salt (for sprinkling, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Honey Butter: In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, ground cinnamon (if using), and salt. Whip together using a hand mixer or fork until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

Roll out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it flat on a clean work surface. Lightly dust the surface with flour.

Separate the Triangles: Carefully separate the dough into triangles along the perforated lines.

Spread the Honey Butter: Take a generous tablespoon of the honey butter mixture and spread it evenly over each triangle, leaving a small border around the edges.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end of the triangle, roll each piece tightly towards the pointed end. Ensure they are rolled evenly for consistent baking.

Brush with Egg Wash: Place the rolled crescent rolls onto the prepared baking sheet. Using a pastry brush, lightly brush each roll with the beaten egg.

Sprinkle with Sea Salt: If desired, sprinkle a tiny bit of flaky sea salt on top of each roll for an added texture and flavor.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Cool and Serve: Remove them from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy the melted honey butter goodness!
