1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

4 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon (zested and juiced)

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups cooked quinoa or rice (for serving)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions
 

Prepare Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients and set up your workspace. Rinse and pat dry the shrimp, then season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

    Heat Up the Pan: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.

      Sauté Asparagus: Add the asparagus pieces to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, until they start to become tender but still crisp. Remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
